Redtie Weather

Redtie weather is a free PHP weather script based on the Weather.com XOAP service to get current weather conditions and 5 days detailed weather forecast for cities around the world. Using a CSS style sheet and header and footers, the script is also easy to integrate into a specific design.

The script is Weather.com XOAP license compliant and caches XML responses for the required time for each type of response. Other compliant features include Weather.com ads.

To install the script do the following

• Upload all files and folders to the server
• Sign up for a free account at http://www.weather.com/services/xmloap.html
• Configure the config.php file on your server
• CHMOD directories parser/cache/cc, parser/cache/dayf, parser/cache/search to 0777

This script was developed and tested on Apache 2.2.10 with PHP version 5.2.6.
